Cancelling a subscription

• Cancel anytime from Plan & Credits → Manage billing. You won’t be charged again.
• Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Pro and Studio writing credits stay usable until then; media credits and credit-pack writing credits stay in your account.
• Cancelling never deletes your work.

When we refund

• Failed generations are never charged. Credits held for a run that fails are returned automatically.
• Billing mistakes. Duplicate charges, or charges after you cancelled, are refunded in full.
• Unused purchases within 14 days. If you ask within 14 days of a subscription payment or a credit pack purchase, and you haven’t used any of the credits that payment added, we refund it in full.
• Annual plans. Within 14 days of the annual payment, you can cancel for a full refund if you haven’t used that year’s credits.

Otherwise, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for credits you’ve used, except where the law requires a refund. We may make exceptions at our discretion.

What happens when a payment is refunded

The credits that payment added are removed from your account. If some of them were already used, your balance can become negative until it is topped up. For a refunded subscription payment, paid features end with that period.

How to request a refund

Email support@screenwriting.ai from your account email address with the date and amount of the charge (you’ll find your invoices under Manage billing). We reply within two business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually resolve it faster. While a dispute is open, paid features on the account may be paused.

Consumers in the EU and UK

You have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. Because the Service is digital content that starts immediately, that right ends once you start using the credits the purchase added, as you agree at checkout. Unused purchases can always be refunded within 14 days, as described above.
